Having spent more or less a decade living and surfing in San Francisco and Hawaii, banker-turned-restaurateur Kelly Koh found himself missing American & Hawaiian diner food so much when he returned to Singapore, one night he made a local food stall cook him a Chinese version of a Hawaiian rice staple called the Loco Moco in the middle of the night, just so he could sleep better.
These days, Kelly sleeps well every night, now that he’s got his very own dream diner & a chef churning out Loco Mocos and lots more big eats from the American-Hawaiian life he knew and loved, down at The Rockin’ Diner, located at 11 Club Street. There, you can find “Dangerously Delicious Hot Dogs” and American Diner Favorites with fabulous Craft Beers and Ciders.
Be sure to drop by for Happy Hour: 1-for-1 housepours/ beer from 4-9pm.
You might also recognise Kelly from his hole-in-the-wall hot dog stand, The Mustard Incident, in the Tangs Basement. That little stall has grown into the full-blown food orgy that is The Rockin’ Diner.
