Chin Sin trained at Le Cordon Bleu and was Chef-Owner of the popular French restaurant, Le Bistrot, at the Indoor Stadium. These days, the busy restaurateur splits his time between two new restaurants he co-owns with friends, where he has stepped back from kitchen duties to conceptualise new dishes & the food menus.

When it comes to eating, Chin Sin finds himself returning again & again to Chinese comfort foods – Cantonese, Teochew, Hokkien dishes all delight him.

Chin Sin is also a keyboardist and graduate from Funkie Monkies Pop Music School’s Career in Hit Songwriting course. Something that certainly came in useful when he entered MediaCorp’s song-writing competition, SG50: The Gift Of Song. His self-penned song, These Are The Days, emerged the winner! Look out for the official music video, that will star the winners of MediaCorp’s talent shows: Farisha Ishak, Channel 5’s The Final 1, Shabir, Vasantham’s Vasantham Star and Alfred Sim, Channel U’s Project SuperStar. The music video will also be broadcast across MediaCorp’s television channels, Toggle as well as its radio stations, in the lead-up to National Day 2015.

Also, check out his restaurants:

Lolla – this cosy, Mediterranean-inspired small plates restaurant is located at Ann Siang Hill and their signature sea urchin (uni) pudding is eye-rollingly good!
Lollapalooza – this sister restaurant in Keong Saik Street features a new menu every day that focuses on the best produce available, which means lots of exciting flavours and textures from dishes as varied as Tuna Eyeballs to a simple Roast Chicken!
